We analyse your requirements, review technical options, and advise you on suitable machines and solutions – efficiently, personally, and with decades of expertise.
Short response times, precise analyses, and reliable solutions. We support our customers worldwide from a single source.
Based in Germany since 1955, we bring 70 years of experience in mechanical engineering and spare parts production.
Dedicated contacts, clear communication, and professionalism in every interaction.
Your requirements are individual – and so is our consulting. With more than 30 years of experience in the development and manufacture of oil presses, we understand not only the technology but also your production processes.
Our engineers take the time to work with you to find the best solution. Whether it is a new purchase, modernisation of existing systems, or process optimisation – we provide manufacturer-independent, practical advice with a focus on what matters.
We combine technical know-how with commercial understanding: we recommend what makes sense for your production. From the first contact through to implementation, we remain your reliable partner.
Not sure whether your seeds can be processed optimally? In our in-house test facility, we carry out test pressings using your raw materials. This provides you with concrete data on throughput, oil yield, and product quality before you invest.
From standard seeds such as rapeseed and sunflower to exotic oilseeds such as paprika seeds or wheat germ – we have already tested hundreds of different oilseeds and systematically documented the findings.
This extensive practical experience enables precise forecasts for your production and gives you the confidence to make the right decision. If desired, you can attend the test pressings and see the results for yourself.
What information do you need for an initial assessment?
For a well-founded initial assessment, we require basic information about your planned application: Which oilseed or raw material is to be processed, what throughput volumes are planned, and what quality requirements do you have for the finished oil?
Information about your location, the available space, and existing infrastructure such as power and water supply is also helpful. For larger projects or plant assessments, we are happy to visit you on site. Internationally, we use our global partner network.
Is on-site consulting possible?
Yes, for more complex projects, on-site consulting at your premises is of course possible. Our engineers and application specialists come to you, analyze your existing processes, assess the spatial and technical conditions, and work with you to develop a tailored solution.
Especially when integrating new machines into existing production lines, a personal on-site visit is often the most efficient way to ensure reliable planning.
Internationally, we work with a global network of certified partners who can support you locally.
Do you also advise on unusual seeds?
Yes. In addition to classic oilseeds such as rapeseed, sunflower, or soy, we have many years of experience with a wide range of less common raw materials.
These include, among others, hemp, flax, black cumin, grape seeds, pumpkin seeds, and various tropical oilseeds. Each seed has its own requirements in terms of pressure, temperature, speed, and pre-treatment.
Our consultants analyze the specific properties of your raw material and configure the machine accordingly to achieve optimal yield and quality.
Do you also offer consulting on process optimisation?
Yes, process optimization is a key part of our consulting services. Many of our customers come to us not only when starting out, but also when existing plants do not achieve the expected yield, quality issues arise, or energy consumption needs to be reduced.
We analyze the entire pressing process—from raw material preparation and the actual pressing through to filtration and storage—and identify specific levers for improvement.
The result is measurably higher efficiency with the same or improved product quality.
What distinguishes KEK consulting from other providers?
The key difference lies in the combination of mechanical engineering expertise and genuine application know-how. We do not advise as an external service provider, but as a manufacturer who knows its machines down to the smallest detail.
Our consultants are not salespeople, but engineers and technicians with decades of hands-on experience in mechanical oil extraction. In addition, we have a global network of reference plants across a wide range of industries and regions.
This enables us to make recommendations that are not based on theory, but on real, comparable projects.
